Our soaps are made the old fashioned way by combining oils and a sodium hydroxide lye solution at room temperature. This allows for saponification, a chemical reaction that makes the soap moisturizing while preserving the ingredients and allowing for a skin-friendly PH.

Why use beer?  Beer is used in soap for its nourishing and hydrating skin benefits. The amino acids in hops soothe irritation, B-complex vitamins from yeast moisturize, and the sugars create a rich, creamy lather, making beer a valuable ingredient for a luxurious soap.
