Our soaps are made the old fashioned way by combining oils and a sodium hydroxide lye solution at room temperature. This allows for saponification, a chemical reaction that makes the soap moisturizing while preserving the ingredients and allowing for a skin-friendly PH.

What is Activated Charcoal Soap?  When used in soap, activated charcoal binds to dirt and oil and removes it from the skin's surface and pores. The soaps ability to absorb oil makes it a popular choice for those with acne prone skin and can be used as a shampoo for oily hair.  This soap can be drying and best suited for oily skin and hair.
